Does the Weather Impact Kava Effects?

Just asking a general question on how the weather might affect kava. I know kava is generally consumed in warm, humid conditions within or around the Pacific. So can one expect changes when drinking in harsh winters?

I plan on having some Moi shells today and hiking since I enjoy having kava while walking around, but it is currently 20-30 degrees outside. I know the logical thing to do is stay inside but kava for me is synonymous with being outdoors. I simply can't enjoy it much while being on the couch or watching TV.

Honestly, yes I believe it changes the experience quite considerably. During the winter I tend to notice the drying effects of kava much more than during the summer. Of course this is due to the heat running, and burning up the humidity in the house, but combine with kava and it becomes a noticeable change in the experience.
