Dosage with med grind/micro/instant

I'm still getting a handle on this. I have my own ideas but I think I could go heavier on the micro. The question is for a kava that there is an equivalent of in each type (or two of the types) how much med grind do you use compared to micro compared to instant? I'm thinking of things like moi, mahakea, nene or KWK Borogu, FLW, Boronguru, Pouni Ono?

Depending on the strain I've been as low as 2 teaspoons for instant, 1 tbsps. for micro and about 4 to 6 tbsps. for a med grind. I can go heavier but it can be a little overwhelming, more than I need to take away the daily grind. Interested in everyone else's ideas?

Sometimes micros/instant can get me to full blast with 5 Tbsp, I don't think I ever go past 6 Tbsp.
To me, it feels like the equivalent buzz/dose of medium grind would be about 8-10+ Tbsp.
This is only in reference to feeling the 'fullest' effects. I can still feel it as low as 1 or 2 Tbsp.

I think I'm underpowering the micro. I normally use about 1 tbsps. per shell and have 2 or 3 shells. I could probably go a bit more comfortably. I'll try it out.

Haven't tried instant.

I honestly find micro to be very close to medium grind strength in terms of mass. I feel tablespoons has twisted the view that micros are way stronger. You use less tablespoons of micro to get a weight than you would medium as it is dense. I don't like the gritty taste of micro but I was using 2 oz a session when I had it. The tablespoon volume would be different but amount the same.
It is a little stronger in my experience.

Does anyone know the order of potency between the same measurement of medium grind, micro, and instant?

edit: @sɥɐʞɐs
Is that instant dosage for one 24 hour period? I can go slightly over six tablespoons but it is spread out over 12-14 hours. I never have one big sesh.

My dosages are a single batch in the evening that I drink over the course of 2 hours or so.

If I drank small doses, spread out through the whole day, I'd probably have no limit...cuz the effects would never hit the ceiling.

Are micro and instants similar Tablespoon wise? Do you dose an instant the same as a micro?

Yeah, I treat instant and micro the same. While I love instant, I rarely drink it, because It's way too expensive for the little amount you get.

Instant is just ugh. I freaking hate the dehydrating, ascerbic texture of it. I always feel like I need to be pounding jugs of water when I drink Instant. That being said, it does hit well and can get you out of a bind.

With micronized, I usually do two heaping tablespoons per each 8 ounces of water. I usually drink about three or four glasses to get a good Kava session going over an hour. Then I'll keep topping up if I want to enter deeper territory. Unfortunately, it can be an expensive rate of consumption

I tried upping the amount per shell of my micro and it just made me a bit queasy. I didn't have the best setting though. I went back to my usual size and got a beautiful effect from pouni ono earlier and borogu just now. I think the key is being in the right place (physically and mentally) and adding a little at a time until I get there whereas with med grind I usually find I am fine on 2 stronger shells. (my point being what works for med grind appears not to work so well for micro. I've got the hang of med grind and instant through repeated use but still maybe playing around with the micro despite the fact I've been using it for a while. I'm going to have to end this addendum soon or the addendum will be longer than the original sentence. That's kava for you!)
