Ebay kava?

Kava Curious
Hey guys, I've been posting a lot of questions lately and apologize if it's to much. In my attempt to find kava priced suitable for daily use I stumbled across some on ebay. It's selling for 28/lb

is there anything bad about this kava? I'm not experience enough to know whether it's good or bad so I come asking for advice. Thanks much.

This is just my two cents. :) I would stay away from Ebay for the most part. UNLESS, it's from a vendor that is recognized on these forums.
But, you can get GREAT Kavas in the 30 dollar range for half pound from many vendors that post here. GHK and BKH are my current favorites. But, there are so many other great vendors on here. It's a little bit more expensive. But, the quality is there and you know what you are putting into your body. I have REALLY been enjoying Bula Kava House Fu'u and Nangol Noble.
But, I encourage you to read through a ton of the reviews on here.
You can never ask enough questions. :)

Maybe Luna Kava? I just ordered their sampler pack. It was $35 for 3/4 of a pound including shipping. I love GHK, but one of the reasons I wanted to try Luna was they are a little cheaper. Mine hasn't gotten here yet, but they have good reviews here. I totally understand wanting to find some at a good price so you can drink till your hearts content. However, you should take the quality (potency) and knowing you are getting a safe product into account as well. You can't put a price on health.

I for one will put my vote in for Bestfijikava. I like their product and at almost 50% cheaper than a lot of the other vendors, I think it's a great deal. I think it is worth giving a try and then if you don't like it, you can always not order more. I think they even half pounds for sale if you just want to try a little bit.

Here is a thread about them: http://kavaforums.com/forum/threads/bestfijikava-com.3332/

Best Fiji is so-so in my opinion. I used to live a few miles away from their market in Hayward, so sampled them quite a bit.
Their competitor up the street (literally) is a store called Saudagar. Their Kava is much better. They sell under the name "Pacific Island Kava" on Ebay. Owners Manny and Nilesh are kava drinkers and don't sell shiite kava. Their Waka is a real bomber and has gotten me super-krunked many times. I even sent a sample of it to Deleted User a few years back when he was testing. Results came back totally legit: [email protected]%.

lol @mr.kava on the Pacific Island Kava ebay page they take a shot at "AAA Grade" kava. I thought that was kinda odd when I saw it but I didn't realize they are down the street from eachother.

It would be interesting to get some feedback from someone like Kavasseur or one of the other experienced users that see alot of different kinds of Kava.

My first reaction when I saw the powder is it looks like micronized or instant Kava. That price is cheap for medium grind, but insanely cheap for micronized. I'd be worried that it would have a bunch of tudei in it. This would certainly make it stronger, which is what they seem to be boasting. The other thing I'd be worried about is fillers. I listened to a great interview of Chris from GHK and he explained some of the pitfalls of micronized. He said some people have gone so far as to put wood chips in the kava as a filler.

For a daily drinker, I like a heady and light Kava so I'm not dragging the next day. Even the heavy nobles make me drag a bit the next day. I can't imagine what a tudei would do to me.

Here is my current favorite daily drinker: http://cactuskava.com/product/loa-lawena-kava It doesn't cost much more than what this guy on ebay is asking and Cactus gives you a nice strainer bag with the Kava.

Seemed like a good deal, with unmarked zip lock baggies and all. I asked the seller if he had it tested for nobility, he had never heard of tudei but his kava is real good stuff. I sent him a link explaining what it was and asked where he got so much kava from. Never replied back.
