Extracts - expiration?

Does anyone know how long you might expect the double-strength extract to last - will the potency lessen with time?  I'd like to be economical and buy a large jar for special occasions, but I don't want it to go bad on me!

While talking with Adil from Paradise Kava he told me the extracts can keep for up to and past 4 years. Shoot him an email and I'm sure he will go into specifics. You'll be fine. Get it! It's worth it.

Good luck trying to keep it for special occasions. I said the same thing myself. These days,  I dip into my extract the moment my gums don't feel numb. (smiley: smile)

Haha, Atreides, that's exactly what I'm expecting to happen, despite my best intentions.  I just can't resist anyway, it sounds so great.

Thought I'd stay away for the holidays, but one cannot help themselves with this sweet forum.



Double Strength will expire in a year and half only because of the sunflower lecithin involved.



Extract itself is solid for 5 years.

At the rate I am burning through my double strength Kava extract, I doubt a month of shelf life will be needed ;-). So in goes an order for some more extract (branching out into the regular strength ones this time). Great way to start the New Year.
