So ever since I heard about this new Fiji Loa Waka kava, I have been waiting to get my hands on some! So ordered a 1/2 pound from Kalm with Kava...
It arrived few days ago but didn't try it till last night! I opened the bag and it had a nice smell to it, smelled very fresh!
So I grabbed my kava bowl, and the new Fiji Loa Waka, along with some Fiji water.."figured it couldn't hurt"
Measured out 2 table spoons to start with, and mixed with 2 cups water...
Kneaded for 10 minutes, kavalactones seemed to jump right out of the kava with every squeeze...
I usually do a second strain with a mesh filter but totally forgot this time, it was still a rich, creamy..smooth and milky kava...
Once I got it made a took a few pics, thought I could add the pics here for the review...
The first taste was around 4:40pm, I downed a nice full shell worth of the Loa Waka, it was very creamy and rich tasting! Not bad tasting at all!
As far as kava's taste goes, this is one of the easiest to drink! Right up there with Pouni Ono....
After about 5 minutes I started feeling slightly giddy, little more happy, some excitement like I was waiting for something...
10 minute mark was more of the same, except by this time I was smiling big time, thought everything was either funny, or awesome? haha...
Colors started getting brighter and more intense! The world around me started getting to a much more relaxing, care free but beautiful place!
After 15 minutes I used my shell and scooped up more kava from my kava bowl, gently pouring it into the bowl over and over...
Watching it's creamy texture, and oily tea water bubble with the impact of the water...I do this to mix it all up good but for some reason, I though this was just great!
15 minute mark hits and bam! Slammed down another shell...at this point I could already tell this wasen't the regular kava I was use to!
There was something special about this Loa Waka, I just wasn't sure what!
After waiting another 15 minutes I was at a place I have only been once, the first time doing that crazy hair root hanky panky lol...but this was still worlds different!
Even though I had a good 1-2 shells left atleast, I decided I would stop at just 2 shells, this stuff is strong and hard hitting!
It is powerful and uplifting, it made my mind soar with excitement as the euphoria got more and more pronounced...
The body had a weird type of energy going through it, something I haven't noticed before...
This is the first time I haven't needed or wanted to finish off a bowl of kava, and it was only made with 2 tbsp! crazy.....
This is by far the most headiest kava I have ever tried! It hits the head fast, but smoothly and before you know it you're getting more and more toward that krunk state I had only read about on here lol...this stuff would get you there in a hurry! I don't see how much else "kava wise" could come close to being more heady then this stuff! It's just made up of the perfect kavalactone level to be a great daytime kava with tons of heady fun to be had!
Another thing to note, this is and was the only kava I have ever had that did not put me to sleep, nor make me tired...hour after hour it was going strong, the headiness lasted and lasted and turned more and more relaxing as the night went on...
This stuff made me want to run around, keep moving and stay active, and as I said is the "only" kava to not knock me out after an hour!
This is going to be what other heady kava's are judge by, case closed! A little goes a loong way!
