If you guys go on the app store for those who have smart phones.
Download eckhart quotes . It's free and just quotes from his different books and talks . Quick tid bits like this one

"Words reduce reality to something the human mind can grasp, which isn’t very much. Language consists of five basic sounds produced by the vocal cords. They are the vowels a, e, i, o, u. The other sounds are consonants produced by air pressure: s, f, g, and so forth. Do you believe some combination of such basic sounds could ever explain who you are, or the ultimate purpose of the universe, or even what a tree or stone is in its depth?"

@Kapmcrunk theres something about looking up to the skies while taking any substance, or anything you want to make sacred. When I look to the heavens, I am not looking for some God or religious sign to bless me, its a moment of awe; the universe made it possible for this little bit of stardust that I am to have such a wonderful tool to connect me with who I truly am. The essence, or voice that resides within this body. Its a journey of self discovery.

Wow, that was beautiful. I often feel this way when staring into the nights sky. It is an awesome experience if you let it be one.

Thank you @Sam Handwich! Kava sure does have a way with words. It is amazing how much it has positively impacted my life, in such a short amount of time. I have been able to let go of so much built up rage and anger. Not a care in the world.. La la la la la...KWK Loa & Big Kava Waka, time to blast off, gonna do a little star gazing. Has anyone noticed how many shooting stars/meteors have been visible in the last year or so? Its crazy.

Big kava doesnt kick my teeth out or anything, it is very mellow and so clean feeling that I could easily forget that I have had a few shells. But for me, thats not a bad thing, It seems great for when I'm in a great mood and dont need any buzzing effects. I will be trying some BKH Nangol next order, as I would love to have something more potent for the weekends.

It always blows my mind when I look up at the night sky and think about how we're simply a product of it. We are the universe staring back at itself.

Great minds think alike! I just ordered some Nangol on Saturday, complete with shells. Kava is fickle for me, when I first tried KWK Loa I wasn't blown away, but I did think BigKava had nice effects. A few weeks later and my opinions on the two have swapped. Loa has been really great lately. I'll revisit BigKava again soon. I am just really not a big fan of their super fine grind. I like a medium-coarse better than medium-fine. Less sediment after straining.

I had mixed feelings about the Loa. One day it would blow me away, and the next it would be like Mehhh. But it probably has more to do with my eating habits, and state of mind, than the actual kava itself. I noticed, if I am in a really good mood before having some kava, with no anxiety, kava barely alters my brain chemistry. But if I have a long day that drags on, and I just wanna kick back and say to hell with this day, I get a better effect.
The grind of Big Kava didnt bother me as much as I thought it would. Maybe I got lucky, but the stockings I use are so tightly woven, that literally, almost no particles escape. I know that the kava liquid itself is actually a suspension of particles in water, but there is no real sediment left behind, if that makes any sense.

I agree with you on that, kava seems to work best for me when I really need it. If the situation is already calm and happy it doesn't do much but if anxieties are high kava comes to the rescue. What an amazing plant!

Am I a bad person if I answer 'yes'? Human languages consist of the about 800 possible speech sounds that a human being can make. Each language chooses a small subset of these sounds: in English, there are 44 speech sounds which are represented by a highly illogical system of spelling with 26 letters on paper. Embedded within that illogical system is the history of the British Isles, actually. The beauty of language is that it is infinitely expressive. Those 26 letters can be combined in infinite combinations, to literally describe anything in the universe, including language itself, and including the universe itself. The key to being able to do this is that higher order structures can be created out of the letters: words are formed by letters; sentences are formed by words; paragraphs are formed by sentences; books about anything under the Sun (or Moon) are written with paragraphs. Sentences, paragraphs and books can give rise to new concepts, which can be given their own words, as shortcuts for the book, paragraph or sentence. So, for example, instead of reciting the complete works of Linus Pauling where he developed the concept of the chemical bond, you can just say chemical bond. And then you can use that new word in more sentences, paragraphs, and books. There is great power in those 26 English letters and 800 World speech sounds. What we do with that power is up to us. I think I get what you are saying @verticity, language can be a beautiful, diverse, and very complex thing. But I think what @Mrbinx69 quote is describing, is that audible sound cannot convey everything we may experience, and even our known senses are very limited in translating what really goes on in the universe, or what we try to describe as life. Even if you can describe something you are feeling, or experiencing, there is no way for certain that you can instill that exact feeling as you percieve it, into someone elses mind and body, and them have the exact same reaction to it. Like when people say "Know what I mean?", well, no I dont know what you mean exactly, because I'm not you, and dont have the same chemical reactions in my body/brain, translating it into different thought patterns, reactions, and feelings. Who is to say that anyone on this earth experiences anything at all, in a remotely similar way to any other person on this earth. There is no solid, concrete foundation to base anything off of, or to compare it to, even if we feel that we know what each other means. I do not disagree with what you are saying about language, but it can go much deeper than language, or any kind of perception we are aware of.

Sorry, I just doubled my usual kava strength, and its making me very talkative. Know what I mean? ;)

I know what you mean.

Bula @verticity! I love these kind of deep, crazy conversations. I am so glad there are people like you, and @Mrbinx69 and all other awakened spirits (maybe no the best description. I lack with my language skills sometimes) that are intelligent, and open minded enough to discuss crazy stuff like this. Most people are drones walking straight through life, not questioning, wondering or even caring about the deeper mysteries and ideas.
