Too bad I only get stems and twigs at my herb store haha .
I noticed at the bar they had whole kava chips in a mason jar though ! I would love to get some kava chips to grind down myself... the whole process felt fun and hands on but my end product just sucked

It is pretty satisfying to grind your own roots. Also a plus knowing if you really are drinking lateral roots, stump, blend etc when you see it in whole form first
