Heat and kava stability

It is very hot in our area and I know some parts of the country have reached 120 degrees and above. Combine that with the heat of the mail box and kava baking in there all day, I am sure it would be more than enough to fry an egg.

Does this degrade or hurt kava.

itchin for kava
I have recently been using some Stone kava that I had out in the garage all summer and it's been averaging 107 degrees for a couple of months and it seems plenty potent. Not really scientific but just ran out of room in my pantry and left it out there last spring and forgot about it, what a great surprise.

Seems the moisture content is the key. If it is kept dry it should be fine but above a certain moisture percentage it can degrade, or get mold.
