Help with making a kava tincture

Hello all I'm new to making kava tinctures and so far I'm making an alcohol tincture with powdered fiji kava and Everclear. It's looking good but i heard alcohol alone doesn't get all the actives out and you need a fat substance to extract the rest out. Does anyone know or have experience doing this? I want to make a STRONG extract. Any help is very appreciated!

Welcome to KF, most if not all of us drink it traditionally so I am afraid there won't be much help here for this topic. To make the kava stronger add more root and less water or both, drinking it is the only way you will benefit from kava. Tinctures, vapes, extracts don't work.
