Ok, reporting back from the front lines. I had 2 tablespoons of Nene Instant in Ginger Ale, holding off on that 3rd tablespoon till 5pm. The Nene is not a pain killer or heavy body effect like the boroguru micronized. It does give you a nice buzz so let's call that "headiness". It is also sedating to me. That's why I'm holding off on the third tablespoon. This kava makes you very relaxed in a nice mild way. So I will sleep very well tonite but I have to way for the last tablespoon so I don't sleep at my desk.

I think the sedating effects made this a good medicine for children. They tend to get hyper. This kava would make them relax and sleep. And as you know, sleep can heal a lot of illnesses.

I think Deleted User01 deserves to be promoted for taking such risks during working hours. So is the verdict that nene instant and honokane fall under "daytime buzz list"?

The Nene can give you a daytime buzz but it will also sedate you. It is kind of like the mild sedation I feel with Mapulehu. So if you are having an aggravating day and feeling kind of agitated, then I would I would take some Nene to calm you down and help you focus. Also, it is the most Noble of all the Kavas on Deleted User's list so it may indeed be good medicine to take at night when you have a cold, allergies, or other aggravating minor ailments.
