Is the brand I bought Noble?

I have been reading about Kava & purchased some Kava powder before I discovered this forum. The brand I purchased was Wakacon Fijian Waka & I was hoping someone could tell me if it was Noble or 2 day. I have not made a batch yet because I wanted to get some feedback first. I would certainly appreciate any assistance.

Welcome to the Forum @Shot! ::awesomesmiles:: I always look at True Kava's Acetone test to determine nobility. On the chart, the ones in yellow are noble and below those are not so noble. Check it out. The Acetone test is approved by Dr. Lebot and is the only thing we got to determine true nobility. You can check it out in the kavapedia and do your own Acetone test at home if you wish. @Deleted User could tell you more.

Hey, @Shot!

I've consumed a bag or two of Wakacon, and consider it (at least the Fijjian Waka type) noble. It's not as strong as other brands, but it'll do the trick.

I'm glad you answered the question @Runding. He already bought the kava and it's nice to know that another member has tried it without any bad side effects.

I appreciate the replies. I would be interested to know what the most popular/strongest brands are. Thanks

Okay so today is my second day of using this product / Kava. I didn't really realize anything yesterday but today it is a very subtle & pleasant experience. Pleasantly surprised. I do like the calmness. I was skeptical but it appears I was misguided.

Even with noble kava, you may have Reverse Tolerance to overcome.

Kava is *NOT* subtle when you've reached RT. You will know that something is different, and in most ways better, once it takes hold.

On the acetone test, the wakacon fiji waka submitted for testing (may not be the same root you bought) was off-yellow and considered possibly adulterated with tudei. Mildly so, but not purely noble.

Sounds like I need to get some of the better Kava mentioned here. I'm looking forward to getting past RT completely. Not sure how long that will take.
