Bula! A shell of Art of Kava Gorgor blasted off my morning this morning and set my day right. Sadly it was my last shell and I'm waiting on the next shipment but hey, its the weekend!

Had an unexpected surprise today - ran out of kava this week and placed an order, which can take up to 2 weeks to arrive.
So to fill the 4-5 hours in the evening that is normally "my time", I decided to clean out the freezer for the first time in several years. Lo and behold what was at the bottom? A kilo of Boroguru.

... the one is a rich man... who forgot 1kg of kava in the freezer... you are a blessed! 
...happening upon a forgotten bag of Borogoru is a great find, but finding it while you're out of kava is significantly greater! Enjoy it braddah! 
I've been mostly sticking with this Wakacon Vanuatu for the past couple months, I'm thoroughly sick of it now. I did find a new store that sells half-pound bags about 30 minutes away, but they're marked up to $45. I made the mistake of buying the Samoan, it was basically a bag of dirt and twigs. If I ever have to go there again, I'll probably have to get the PNG kava. My usual Polynesian market I go to still has a good price, but the quality has dropped significantly and it goes out of stock for weeks at a time now. There is another Samoan market not to far from me that has a good Samoan kava, but they sell these tiny tiny little bags for $20-$25
so amazon continues to be my best bet for now, but man I'm sick of dull, lackluster kavas. I feel like I might have to pay the higher price for something soon, like 5-Star kava, just to remind myself that it can be great.

Happy Friday! Good idea to pin the thread. Had a good kava day yesterday with Wow and then some instant (Gold) from FijiVanua. Occasionally my 72 year hands like an instant break from trad prep. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Today I almost had a K@ relapse... after thinking doing it now and then is OK. After I was on it for three years. So first it was once a month, now almost once a week. And yesterday I did it, and when I "came down" already felt ill, sneezing all the time today, mind trying to find excuses to take it. I thought "damn"...
... until I took some nice Silesse and my mind forgot about K@ completely.
This green "smoothie"... I know so many people have a hard time quitting. I don't want to sound like a priest, so I save every comment to myself.

Thats awesome! I have been wanting to try them. I bet you were so happy when you found it!
I had Wakacon's Vanuatu too many weeks in a row and got tired of it, but then everything I bought in the following weeks was way too weak, even Loa Waka which has always worked for me in the past. So now I'm using PNG Koniak to boost weak kavas and it's very effective, it actually feels like I'm drinking normal kava again.
