Yes that's a good one. I just picked this up - only 50% cocoa but from PNG so on the edge of real kava territory.

Well, for me it just makes both the kava and the chocolate better when I do this. For me. I had the idea when I remembered doing the same with Fernet Branca and dark chocolate.

I've got an interesting palate, the more bitter/sour/spicy the better. I love strong black coffee, espresso, the taste of kava, dark chocolate, strong kombucha, super spicy food. I use Sriracha like ketchup. Dark chocolate/cacao and kava sounds like a great combo.

I actually found that putting it in my cheek and letting the kava wash it away as I drink it is really nice ! rather than just having it after I drink the kava . it merges the flavors and chocolate wins
