Krunkedout, there are a lot of methods to ingest K@, but many find the most effective and economical to be toss and wash: just washing down a spoonful of powder with a drink. While there are dozens of "strains," the two of which are most distinct are Bali and Thai, the former being sedating and the latter stimulating. I've replaced all caffeinated beverages—bar yerba mate, because it's just so good—with Thai K@, while I've cut down on my herbal anxiolytic use, excluding kava, using Bali. As you'll read all over the place, it can be addictive, but I recommend finding a middle ground between the insane big pharma legislators' bullshit and the vendors who claim it's no more addictive than morning coffee. While it is addictive, you'll find websites saying that it's "more dangerous than heroin," because we hear about people killing and mugging others for a spoonful of K@ all the time. (smiley: wink) I'm not suggesting you try it, and if kava suffices for your anxiety/depression/whatever you're using it for, you may not want to just in case of addiction, however mild it may be. But if you need an extra "kick," responsible K@ use has given that to many. Best of luck in your researching and experimenting!
