Kava bar owners: My kava bar was dropped by insurance company "they don't cover kava." I need help finding a company that will.

Hello all, first time on Kava forums. Happy to have found this site. I tried looking for a post that in which someone had gone through something similar but didn't find one.

I am opening a kava bar in the Los Angeles area. In order to get the lease space, I needed to have general liability insurance (even before I open.) NEXT insurance covered my business for a year and then decided to not continue coverage. When I spoke to them, they stated that they could "no longer continue coverage because they can't insure businesses that deal with any type of drug." I tried to educate them on kava, but I could not convince them to continue my coverage. So now I'm looking for a company that will provide coverage. Can anyone recommend a company that they have used or that they know covers kava bar businesses? Thank you all!

Three points--1. it is unfortunate that recently the Calif. Dept. of Health has published a memorandum which is very critical of kava. That memorandum is way outdated and blatantly incorrect, the DEA also has a negative view, outdated as well; 2. Lloyds of London will cover you I think. 3. there is a Kava cafe in Santa Monica, maybe you could reach out to them.
