Kava BATI

+ kilakila . This is a example of the exact same Kava effecting 2 different people very differently ,we both bought Bati when it was first released therfore pretty sure it was the same batch . I find it to leave me clear-headed , relaxed and stress resistant , a very good daytime Kava that does not leave me lethargic in daytime doses . You found it to be "edgy and tight ", pretty much the opposite of my experience . Interesting . Good luck with the blending .

I'm wondering if my frame of mind affected how I felt the Kava. Been a stressful week with my mom seriously ill in hospital in England. And then my grandson having a bad gash near his eye that thankfully was not as bad as it could have been. Coupled with some ongoing family stress that escalated this past couple of weeks and I think maybe I was not receptive to this kava. Going to take a couple of weeks break from kava as I'm heading out to England and will likely be calling in at the pub a few times! I'll retry bati when I return.

I definitely think how you are thinking can effect how you interact with any Kava . Without getting to deep your state of mind can effect your personal biochemistry and vice versa , when we add Kava to the mix we are creating a mix of chemicals that is based on immediate brain chemistry , personal tendencies and reactions to a Kava and our mood ( expectations , worries , stress , happiness ,etc. ) . The short description is try to control "set and setting" . YMMV . Enjoy your trip to England

Thank you for the kind wishes @Ibbygirl. My mom is now out of the hospital but not in good shape. But we - and she - all prefer that she be at the residential home that she loves, together with her friends. I called her today and she sounds quite cheerful but I know her mobility is now very limited. But at almost 90, she's done pretty good! I'm actually going over to celebrate her 90th birthday. Lets hope it is a celebration!
Grandson doing great, gash healing really well - kids are lucky, they heal really fast! I'm taking some mahakea micronized with me, just in case the wine and pub visits don't come to fruition! I do love a good glass of wine in good company, and English pubs are usually full of good company!

But we - and she - all prefer that she be at the residential home that she loves, together with her friends.
