Where the crossroads meet is the axle

Of the grand wheel

The heart that reverberates my beat

I wear the talisman of Thot,

The sign of our unity

Because it has a part of the universe

A part of me

And my love is strong because nothing can divide

Me from the object of my ultimate affection

The Ophidian wheel

When the moon steals the crown from its rival

Night enters day. Bring forth the eclipse

The schism that reconstructs my lucid kingdom

And all my children by their birth right

Wear proudly my crown, my horns of power

And those who sense my circle thoughts are all witnesses

I've found myself enjoying Dubstep more on kava, especially Klapex and Skrillex.
Wow, really? That stuff is way too hard for me to relax on kava at the same time lol. I like certain dubstep for kava time though, give this a listen, I love it

Is there death before life?
Im really surprised no one mentioned any Bob Marley, haha

I love three little birds both Krunked, and normal.

But my fav. is Silversun Pickups, and It for sure works the alpha waves

Anyone ever done a study with Kava/music Alpha waves?

Now im interested.

Whats with the crazy death satanic metal on page 2??

How can someone krunked listen to that? Im all chill and feeling close to God not satan "always" but exspecially drinking Kava, lol

I have several acquaintances in the Church of Satan. Good people, although I don't really share their taste in music most of the time.

That's a stereotype. Septicflesh is about mythology and philosophy. That song is a mix of Saá¹…sÄ ra, Middle-Eastern, and Greek themes.
Thot was a prominent Egyptian deity.
This kind of music takes a while to get use to and usually isn't for everyone, but I find it very calming.
I give merit to even the most chaotic of metals. =)

I'm diggin that marley-step gray owl

I found this just now, lol, it's kind of crazy. Got my heart going, delivering a kavalactone-thick supply of blood to my brain quicker than usual, resulting in increase of effects.(smiley: ohwell)

You might be on to something with that heavy dubstep, philip.

I think this song is from 1936.

Dreamed about a reefer five feet long.
Mighty Mezz, but not too strong.
You'll get high, but not for long. Cause you'se a viper.

I'm the king of everything.
I've got to be high to have that swing.
Light a tea and let it be.

When your throat get dry you know you're high.
Everything is dandy.
Truck on down to the candy store.
Bust your konk on a peppermint candy.

Then you know your body's spent.
You don't give a darn if you don't pay rent.

Sky is high, you high.
Why?
Cause you'se a viper

There is one musical phrase found in two compositions that I use to describe my love for kava, and the effects it has on my perception of existence.

The first video is "life."  It's not so much that life sucks as that it is a total bummer and, ultimately, very little worth living.

The second video, though, is life on kava.  It's somehow sweeter, gentler, sexier... just a little more pleasant, and that's why I ask to give me this night my nightly kava, every damned night.

Nice one, Philip! I've always loved the Verve version but now the soca version is gonna be on my playlist! Sweet!
I'm digging that viper tune too, Nihilist. Ah, the good ol days before the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937 when racist attitudes like this made it illegal: "Most marijuana smokers are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz and swing, result from marijuana usage." And what sweet, sweet music it was! If that is Satanic, send me to Hell ASAP!
Figured I'd add something now that I've got a bit of Van3 in me. I love this tune. The guitar intro sends chills down my spine even without the kava. Didn't even think of the Satanic reference until posting. (flash video)

Crap! I just lost my whole post. This sucks. I'll try to reconstruct it.

I like the sweet soca reggae song. Portugal was easy going and the album art was awesome.
The tax act was quite devious. Hemp and marijuana could be use to do a lot of good.

I know this is a Kava site but I was listening to Joe Rogan.

I couldn't fit all of this together so I'm going to have to make another post.

First I listened to country then to rap now it's metal. I've been listening to metal for quite some time. There are just so many types.
At first some of it seems intimidating but then you realize they're just putting on shows and vocals can be understood easily with lyrics.
The following is some Dimmu Borgir a well known but somewhat disliked symphonic black metal band.
The first two songs are their orchestral version while the lower two are their combined metal counter parts.
What's cool is they use a actual orchestral. I think they had one for their live shows too.

I know exactly what you're saying about it being an act. I have a friend who's in a death metal band (I'm not 100% clear on the genres, but that's what he's told me). Off stage, he and his bandmates are the nicest, most mellow group of guys I've ever met. Hell, he listens to R&B in his spare time, but get him on stage and he turns into a monster - snarling, spitting, you name it. It's all part of the show but sometimes it still freaks me out, the complete 180 from stage to real-life persona. Some days I dig it, some days I don't. It's definitely a great release for aggression after a rough day, though, when mellow just won't cut it.
