Update from kavadude: If you're reading this you're lookin at the brand spankin new server. We're still messing with some stuff so the forums aren't unlocked quite yet.
Hey guys, @Kapmcrunk finally got sick of listening to my tirades about cPanel and we're moving to a different (and cheaper, cooler) host.
What this means is we're going to lock the forums down while we move. Planned downtime is from 8/30 5:30 PM CST to 8/30 11:30 PM. (Actually, I plan to have 0 hours of downtime, but you know). If the website goes down, you can get status updates from our twitter account: http://twitter.com/kavaforums.
One other thing to note is that the DNS records can sometimes take a while to propagate. What the heck does that mean, kavadude? I'm glad you asked. It means that even though we have moved to a new server, your computer might still think kavaforums.com points to the old server. This depends on a number of factors and may take a while to resolve. So, if we've announced on Twitter that we're done, and the forums are still locked (or you're reading this thread, which I'll delete after we move), that's probably what is happening to you. You may be able to speed up that process by following the instructions here: https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html but if not it should clear up within 72 hours.
