Kavalactone content for Gaia caps and Ozia candies?

The candies I'm not sure but I assume based on the FDA 200 mg serving recomendations that they both are around there per pill/candy

I never had Gaia but I have had the candies and they are very good ! You won't get krunk but it's equivalent to a good shell or two of moi in my opinion.... technically it's more of a balanced kava but being a extract there's no tiredness so it's more of a heady automatically in my opinion

I've never had the gaia capsules but have had and enjoyed many candies. I agree with Mrbinx69, they seem to be perfectly balanced and are great for a quick pick me up at work but never make me sleepy. I too would be very interested to hear from @Deleted User about any testing that has been done on these products.

Thanks! I'm particularly interested in the chemotype, or the percentage breakdown of kavalactones by volume.

well it's noble, but i'm not sure if we ever got the exact chemotype. here's the coa for the base material:

I've bought Gaia caps maybe 3 times over a few years. I forget what the dosage instructions say, but if you're anything like me, you're gonna have to eat more than what it says. Personally, i ate 3-4 caps several times over maybe 2 hours and it was effective. Your mileage may vary. Also the current chemotype could be completely different than my last batch. Either way, medium grind ends up being way cheaper. Gaia seems like a stand-up company.

Can I interpret the COA as telling me the proportion of different kavalactones in it?

You could, except this COA doesn't seem to show all the kavalactones...only DMY and Yangonin + the Flavokavains for some reason. When @Deleted User tests them, you see a whole breakdown.

It doesn't really matter much though, because every kava has every kavalactone in it and when a kava is noble, like this one is, the differences between their arrangement are minor. The more you consume, the higher the effect of all the kavalactones...even if there is one you think you're trying to avoid.

I'd bet this kava's chemotype is probably something like 426xxx or 246xxx

@shakas, makes sense. Do you by any chance have the chemotype/COA/etc for the Ozia candies?

No, but you can ask @Steve about his base root... He logs in sometimes and might have some info for ya
I use a mix for production runs and it will be in the realm of a 245xxx, 246xxx ...there is also a tad of lemon balm and chamomile to help round it out :)
