Kelai Chemotype Ratio

Hello,

I am looking for a quite short acting Kava and found Kelai, Chemotype 421365.

In the description it's mentioned that it has "perhaps the highest ratio of kavain to dihydromethysticin out of all kava cultivars".

However Kavain is 3, Dihydromethysticin is 6, which is a low ratio, not a high one. Dihydromethysticin should be low in a heady kava, and Kavain high, but it's exactly the opposite. What am I understanding wrong here?

Hi,
You might be referring to their position on some list of chemotypes? If you look at the COA, you can get info re actual amounts of each

Thanks, I just checked the CoA of one batch, and it has a high K : DHM of 6.82.

Yes, I thought the position in the 6digit number is actually a rounded value of the concentration - but seems to be just an descendant order of the kavalactone ID according to their relative concentration. Completely read it wrong ;)
