1.5 tbsp x 2 aluballs in 700 ml warmish water. A shell drank every ten minutes. 2nd wash in 600 ml water, drank more quickly.
The flavor is relatively mild but has some bite- not peppery though. This kava is decently potent, but won't knock your socks off. It is uplifting and balanced, leaning towards heady. It is not racy or edgy like some fiji'an wakas. It is stress relieving and is perfect for after work but when you still have stuff to do.
