I know you have a method that more or less removed the makas from micro thus giving us pure kava, but other vendors tend to toss the makas in there so I was wondering if you have an idea of the % of the micro kava that is make in a pound if they don't use your method? 10% less more?
If a vendor is micronizing there kava by using screens to screen out the makas then you will get about 50/50 makas to micro kava powder.
If a vendor uses a mill or other machine to grind the makas to a fine powder then you will get a find powder that has micro makas and micro powder but if you screen this then you will get some large particles about 5% of the powder + makas will be large particle makas that you can see floating in the water.
The way I make my makas takes out all the makas before the kava is dry, I do this while the kava is still fresh and wet, just harvested. After I am done micronizing then I get about 40% micro powder and 60% makas that are taken out. It will depend on how much lateral roots I have because the stump or corm of the kava will yield more micro than the lateral roots. I hope this answers your question. Aloha.
