Must haves?

I'm looking to order from GHK, and I can afford 4-5 different half pound bags. I'm looking at the medium grind.

What are your "must-haves" of GHK kava? I'm DEFINITELY picking up the Mo'i.

The reason I want to make my first ever order from GHK is because first of all he has amazing reviews and is very active in the community. Plus I really like the idea of buying Kava grown right in Hawaii! ::shell::

Have you considered a sample pack?

I would list my top three favorites as:
(1) Mahakea - nice balance, strong
(2) Moi - nice heady buzz, euphoria
(3) hanakapi ai - nice whole body relax
Nene is a nice gentle clean kava but I usually like my grog stronger.
Papa Kea is similar for me to the hanakapi ai, but hanakapi edges it out just slightly in strength.
Chris's Fiji is pretty good as well but so far I like the Hawaiian varieties better (although I do have some Squanch on the way just for grins- hopefully big ones)
Kumakua I have not tried yet (but it is in the mail as we speak)

I keep coming back to Mahakea as my everyday go to kava. So well balanced I start with a nice heady buzz, good stress relaxation, and tapers into great sleep.

Mahakea for when you want to enjoy social interaction
Nene for clean calm peace to help you have unwanted social interaction
Boroguru for when you don't want to function thus circumventing social interaction
