I'm about to make my first purchase from GHK and in my basket ive got 1Ib of kumakua which was the offer in the harvest newsletter, I've also got 1Ib of the Opihikao. I've no doubt of what the quality will be like as ive read nothing but good news about this vendor and their kava. Just wondering if anybody else has had these and what their thoughts are?

I had Opihikao and would say it's similar in 'heaviness' to Hiwa, sedating, but it has an added bit of mental magic to it that makes it better in my opinion. If given the option between Hiwa and Opihikao, I'd always choose Opihikao.

Given the option between those i will choose Maha! But it depends on what you are looking for....and i guess it effects us all differently as well.

anyway you slice it you won't be disappointed with GHK(y)(y)(y)

Im waiting on my first purchase from GHK too. I have bought 60g of the instant Mo'i kava. Nearly finished my 25g of Vanuatu bag of quick kava so looking forward to see what this one will be like and the effects. Will do a review once I have tried it :woot:

Try the Kumakua and tell me how you like it. I haven't tried it yet. Do some Opihikao before bedtime and sleep tight.

Checked back in here too late. Decided on the Opihikao as ive still got a full belly from dinner. Thought about what people said about Opihikao being a bit of a lights out one so ive brewed that, its chilling in the fridge ready for when I get back in later. Oooooh good times ahead!!!!
