NobleNano Tincture (Kalm with Kava) – Any Experiences?

Hi! Has anyone here tried the NobleNano tincture from Kalm with Kava, and found it helpful for anxiety? I’m based in Europe, and this seems to be the only “potent” kava tincture that’s available here.

Recently, I tried Gaia Herbs Kava (Liquid Phyto-Caps), but they didn’t help with my anxiety at all, they made me feel a bit stimulated and jittery, which was the opposite of what I wanted.

In the past, I had good results with traditionally prepared kava, especially from the Vanuatu strain. Some other strains made my anxiety worse, but Vanuatu worked well for me. Sadly, importing root powder in bulk to the EU has become quite expensive.

Thanks!

When I remember right, someone wrote about it here, just use the search function. It seems to do a job, but you can't compare it to traditional preparation. But of all extracts and all of that, it seems to be "OK".

Thank you for your response. I’m just not sure it would work that well for me since I suffer from generalized anxiety disorder and take about 0.5 mg of Xanax daily. The NobleNano tincture is pretty pricey here, around $67 a bottle.

On paper, it does seem quite potent: the label says it has 1,000 mg of kavalactones per 1 ml serving, compared to Gaia Herbs’ kava, which has 225 mg per three capsules (so about 75 mg per capsule).

I am also from Europe and I also was close to try the tincture. Sounds OK for the price, but after I read that the effects are far from traditional preparation... (I am not so sure if it was here, or at kwk homepage in the reviews)

Hmmm just had a look at the reviews at KWK again... I guess I have to try it... lots love it... say it is the best extract ever.

Thx for the Amazon hint... yes doesn't sound so nice. Could be I mixed it up, and the review wasn't here (the bad one) but on amazon. But one has to take into account that a lot of kava newbies buy on amazon and write reviews and in the beginning lots of people have no clue or it doesn't work always the same (the longer I take it (for years now) I have steady effect of kava!).

I just ordered it and I will do a small review. On reddit people also say it is the best extract they know.

Awesome! I’ll be ordering it too and am looking forward to your review. I’ll post mine once I try it as well.

I’ve had a similar experience and learned that if the dose of kava gets too high, the calming effect disappears and anxiety can actually increase. In smaller amounts, kava works well to relax, but at higher doses, it can start affecting other receptor systems as well, which for some people can cause restlessness or anxiety. So finding the right dose is really important... at least that’s been my experience. And for me personally, I often end up taking more than I should because I want the buzz to continue, so I tend to overdo it.

So I tried it today first time.

After a while I'll do a bigger review perhaps, in the KWK subforum.

First dropper I kept in my mouth for 5 minutes and I had a numb mouth. Due to it was 10 minutes after a meal, it was a hard test. But immediately I felt that this is much better than those cheap Europe yellow extracts you find everywhere, which do almost nothing.

Just had my second dropper, and it seems to come much closer to traditional prep than those cheap extracts. I'll use it a couple more times before I can say more, but it seems really OK for an extract. Atm I tend to say it is more on the heavy side.

So, wouldn't order it again except it would be a lot cheaper.

tried it a couple of times now. It is always the same to me: First you get the feeling this is strong kava, the first effect is promising the first minutes (kept in the mouth for a while), a heavy kava hit seems to wait. But that's it, then you have some kind of kava feeling for a while, rather subtle and when you think "its not there anymore" you realize it is still there and ends with a bit heavy "down" at the end, a bit sedating.

No stomach and bowel problems, a dream, if the effect would be like traditional preparation.

I had it with me in the gym today, and it gives a nice kick and a nice lift for social anxiety or such - so it helps in those situations, but lacks a lot of effect.

I could imagine, that you could mix it with traditional prep to make it more potent and do less of traditional to keep your stomach calm ;-)

I have to add: I love it for what it is. A lot is missing, but I used it a couple of times when I am out, and like I already said, gives a nice "lift" and makes you more at ease. It isn't as strong as normal Kava Kava. The price is a problem. I take 2 droppers for an effect I like, and I have 1 hour +/- -that's more at ease. That's more than 3 € in Europe for an effect that's a lot weaker than traditional prep or instant.

20.- € and I would buy a couple of those.
