Kava Curious
I have read with great interest Deleted User's highly informative post entitled "First Time Kava Drinkers Beware". (http://kavaforums.com/forum/threads/first-time-kava-drinkers-beware.4887/).

I haven't started using kava yet, but I am looking for a way to use kava "on-the-go" to keep calm, cool, calm, and collected while flying or simply enjoying my life (and actually becoming more productive).

What do you all think about the KWK brand, can you tell me? (http://kavaforums.com/forum/threads/not-sure-if-im-letting-the-cat-out-of-the-bag.5531/).

Again, thanks for your help becoming a savvy kava user. I realize that I will have to start with very little and progressively increase the amount of kava that I consume, in order to find out what works best for me. I also understand that I might try for a while before it even starts working for me. I would like to do all this in the best possible conditions and turn my life around with some help from this wonderful root: kava. Thank you.

KWK is a good company, I would say you can't go wrong with their products. I get the bulk of my kava from 4 vendors:

1. Gourmet Hawaiin Kava for their instant Moi
2. Kalm w Kava for their Fijian
3. Paradise kava for their extract ( or used to)
4. Ozia for their kava candies

@ avahZ: Thank you for this information. This helps a lot

Can you, perhaps, tell me which variety each one of the items you mentioned are? (Moi? Hiwa?)

1: Moi is Moi =)
2: Not sure what the Fijian is (called Fiji Loa Waka), it does test noble and has a heady chemotype (463...)
The other two tend to be a trade secret of the vendors (they do test noble), but I suspect the PK extract to be a Boro... variety from Vanuatu.

Thanks for the reply.
After looking at my list you would think I like the heady varieties. I am not much into getting Krunk, but I work too much to be couch locked so I tend to the heady verities at lower doses. I think that's one of the reason I am a light weight verses someone who is a hard head. (light weight = someone who doesn't need much Kava to get where they want, Hard head = someone who needs ALOT of kava to get where they want. Shakas is one of the forums notable hard heads...).
