Poor Customer Service with BKH

I ordered a fu'u ceremony kit three days ago. I have not received an E-mail saying my product has shipped. I was worried something went wrong so I E-mailed bkh and have not received an email back. I was just surprised that I haven't got an email back, with bkh being rated so high for customer service. Also it's been two days since original email. I live 4 hours from Portland so I thought it would be here by third day.

ummmmm. It's been 3 days. I ordered from BKH on November 29th and it didn't ship until December 1st.
Have patience.
If I had a business and I hadn't shipped something in 3 days and got an e-mail bugging at me I'd probably ignore it too.
No business is obligated to ship items the day an order is placed. I bet you will get that shipping confirmation soon enough.
For now relax, and don't worry.

I placed an order with them last Saturday and received a shipping confirmation email on Tuesday, so it seems 3-4 days is about their turnaround.

Thanks for the quick responses and I pretty much figured I was probably being paranoid. I might just delete this thread so I don't give bkh a bad rep. I was just expecting it to get it shipped out Monday because I ordered from kona kava and it shipped out very quickly. But I think I'd much rather have some good quality Kava over slightly faster shipping. Bkh probably has a lot more people buying from them also.

Some weeks they just seem to go very slow. I had one time where it took almost two weeks for them to ship out. Guess they had tons of orders, but their packaging and shipping guy was sick. Lately its out by the next day for me. If you're ever looking for quick shipping check out Cactus Kava. That shit is on point

I too was concerned with their service after I emailed them several days ago asking about a payment method. I still have not heard back from them. I didnt want to bring it up as I figured they may be flooded with emails and just didnt get to mine yet. But on the other hand, if I had a business and someone had a question about payments before they could do business with me, I would have replied within 24 hours. Not the best first impression. I have done a lot of business selling on ebay in the past, and I ALWAYS replied to questions in a timely manner, even if they were bugging me. I decided to say screw it, hoped for the best and made an order a few hours ago. Looking forward to getting some BKH kava, but they should put a little more effort into making sure customers and future customers get the information they need, in a timely manner. Maybe they have started using a different email than the one that is provided on their website and just havent updated their contact forms yet?

It would be great if we could a few to add a Supplier Review for BKH. Just create a new thread in their forum and select the yellow 'Supplier Review' tag to rate them.

Yepp. 4 Days since I sent them an email with no reply.
From their website: "Please use this form to contact us and we will get back to you within 24 hours."

If I ran a business in such a manner, I would be ashamed. I had heard so many good things about BKH, but this is just bad business etiquette.

Three days is enough to cover a weekend, enough to delegate the task if there's a death in the family, enough to get home and send an email if your shop goes up in flames.
Four days is too long.

EDIT: To clarify, I don't think four days is too long to ship, but rather that no contact whatsoever for four days is too long. A simple one-sentence email to say "Sorry about the delay, we expect to ship on x" would greatly improve the customer experience and avoid threads like this one.

Havent tried 2facebook. Wasn't aware they were on it lol. Im not really trying to complain, just stating my thoughts on the matter at hand. I am not upset about it or anything, it just doesnt seem very good for business on their end. I would call them, but I dont get phone reception where I live.
I say four days, but this would be the 4th day, so really only 3 full days have passed. I hope everything is well at BKH.

Well a shipping label has been created. So I don't think is has officially shipped out yet.
