I wish I would come to my senses and buy tons of Chris's special sale kavas during their windows. I have a lifetime of habituation that tells me a "special sale" is a bad thing and a gamble. His "special sales" really are special sales. Must remember.

@Steve T Yeah I need a strainer pronto (after all of my muslin strainers busted ), I'm unable to get a new one In time before my kava arrives....anyone have an extra kava boy or fijian strainer on hand? Hahaha jk, I'll probably just get a nut milk strainer or w/e they're called for temporary usage. ;)
I've been told by Chris of a couple different cheap and quick strainers so I'll have to do some searching. (y)
Anyways, your spot on, there's no doubt about it, when it comes to specials the proof is in the pudding.
Many times on these forums, you know you're getting something good when there's a special or deal going on. :D

@Monkava'd - Knee-high nylons work great, they're cheap and easy to find. You can wash them out for re-use too, but I usually just toss them.
There you go, that's exactly what Chris told me works great and I won't doubt the word of my fellow kavasseurs; I just might do that because of having the recommendation from multiple people. (y)
@Kapmcrunk We're gonna need a poll aren't we Kapm o_O? I might chop one up and start a thread because this would be breaking news I swear.::awesomesmiles::
Apparently from what I've been told, the strainers from kava boy are a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow and last for many uses.
In my opinion they're basically just fijian strainers, and since other vendors on the forum such as Bkh (no comparison being made I'm just pointing it out) have been distributing them; I would love to see this available on other vendors product line as well, this of course includes Ghk.

Now let me say this though, it would likely require a separate individual on the production end or a separate company period unless he acquires some extra time to produce them himself (which I wouldn't want to force on him).
In saying that....I guess I better buy some knitting equipment and stick it out for the long haul.....:LOL:::ricky::
Jk, you wouldn't want me attempting that, unless your looking for a fish netting size coarse strainer.:ROFLMAO:
Edit- Wait I've already got Shakas on the job!:woot:

Hey, even Chris uses knee high stockings and he doubles them up. It helps if there is a female in the house or else you go to Walmart to buy them and then ....
"You have some susplaining to do". ::ricky::

HiYa'll first let me state that I am pleased and relieved to see that after all this time Hawaiin kava is back and I did grab myself s new Hawaiian that I have not tried before. However due to the overwhelming loveliness of this Fijiian I haven't even touched my Hanakapi Ai. The Qila Leka is really well balanced long lasting with a nice long euphoric ADSR (attack decay sustain release). Looking forward to trying the Hawaiian. :hungry:

I use a reusable produce bag that I got from a health food store. It came in a three-pack and was about 1/3 of the price of a nut milk bag. Plus, its holes are juuust the right size.

Brought in a little Qila Leka to work to let some of my coworkers try. I found the perfect bowl and cup in the coffee room to make it in but the coworkers pussied out; "oh will I trip?" "oh I have to wake up early " "oh does it taste bad?" etc etc etc

So I drank it myself & I am feeling NO pain right now ::awesomesmiles::

Very mellow, nice slow come on, not a lot of fireworks but just very relaxed. ::kavaleaf::

Review PLEASE!!! (if you have any problems with the form just let me know)
I will try. I dont' love these forms but I will try to post one for the Qila Leka and Hanakapi' Ai

By the way I am thrilled that Chris at Gourmet Hawaiian is selling both beautiful Hawaiian root as well as quality root from elsewhere. Hawaiian root is the best I have ever had and it was just not available for way too long. ::kavaleaf::

My co-workers would say, "Aw man, you had me at the word trip". As for taste, when you are used to bringing Peyote Tea in your thermos everyday, taste isn't an issue. Wake up early?? They never sleep except at their desks.

Ok, I'm kidding. :D Kapm don't delete this post. :banghead: I'm just kidding.
::frosty:: "Ya boss, he don't mean no harm. But I on the other hand ....."
