Question about Micro Mapulehu.... accidental makas?

ok so I have been trying this Mapulehu root powder and it is affecting me differently than past Mapulehu powder is this from a new batch Chris or maybe another cultivar by mistake? Also I need to order some Moi so I was wondering if the Mapulehu Micro has already shipped out or whether it could just be sent with the Moi order. - Thanks

Hi Noueky, I am very surprised to hear this but you know I will take care of things. Please send the kava back to me so I can have it tested to see what might have gone wrong. This has never happened, not with one cup of kava.
I do have Moi and I will send you that instead or you can pick what ever kava you want, even if it is not on my site, I still have my private stash. Let me know what kava and what grind you want, even if you want the famous Papa Kea, you just let me know. Also this is not a different cultivar and it is the same batch of Mapuleu. I am drinking some now to see if I get the same reaction, so far so good.

Interested to see the reply to this. I'm into some medium grind Mapulehu, and effects are different than what I had come to expect with the micronized. But I think it's the first of GHK's kavas that I've tried in two different forms, so wasn't sure if the effect profiles could differ that much between medium grind and micronized. Perhaps I may have to get some more micronized Mapulehu to see what is going on.

Hi Violet, I do not think there is enough difference between the 2 grinds so as to cause this kind of effects, but the micro is stronger, let me know if you want to try a different micronized and I will send you some.

Thanks for the response Chris and I just want to reiterate for anyone knew to the site, I have been through many bags of various cultivars from GHK kava and they have all been excellent.

Also I wanted to say Mapulehu from GHK is my all time favorite kava so I don't know what's going on. I have had it in the powder, micro, and instant before with no problems. The original micro Mapulehu I ordered will be here soon and I really hope the Mapulehu and my system have not had some kind of falling out

noueky, what was the experience like ?

hey guys I just wanted to give a shout out for kind of seeing me through the ordeal last night, my Wife was actually at Church and it is nice to feel like there is someone to talk when you're sick.

I know we try to document everything here, I was in no shape for detail last night but I prepared it the way I always do through the 25 micron bubble. I actually went ahead and prepared about half the bag and stored it in 8 of the beer bottles Jman put me on. I had some the Moi first felt the normal effect. Poured the 16 oz bottle of Mapulehu into a large cup and drank that over about 20 min. Felt really ill and nauseous for about 30 or 40 min. Tried to eat a little something sat down then thought I was going to be sick. I haven't thrown up in I don't know when but I felt much better after I did.

All this talk about fresh kava has given me a hankering for it. I have a freezer full of root, but man....I've got a case of the lazys, and I need someone to come make it for me.
