Recommendations for a good mate vendor online? I tried Zen on Amazon which actually has (some) Kava in it. Meh. Not impressed.

I like the Rosamonte. And the Anna parks alot.
I think these two mix very well for me. But I can't have no stems. That stimulates me very badly. Stems are key I feel to mineral content and balancing the jittery effect.
I wonder how a nice heavy kava and a mainly stem based yerba would feel?
Also drink your mate for over 4 hours for extra minerals. Its then as if it has steeped for a good 4 hours yum

I'll have to try this. I've been drinking massive gourds of Mate everyday at work for a couple of week now. I splurged and bought every Yerba Mate imaginable. I think I like the Pajarito the most, but the Cruz de Malta is also nice.

I'm totally off of coffee. But today I had one mug just to see if it would make me feel different. It actually gave me a great jump. So having coffee every now and then and drinking Mate regularly seems to work as well.

I like using Amazon for mate. They have a few different brands they carry. One of my favorites is Canarias.

Thanks for your honesty.Sorry guys, I'm not really a fan of this practice. Kava already tends to make me kind of nearvous, so adding a a stimulant on top of that is quite unpleasant for me. I actually had a mild panic attack from this combination once

Sure, I make the yerba first, I use all traditional equipment (gourd, bombilla, w/e yerba I am in the mood for, usually Canaris) About half way through my first liter, I mix the kava, traditional prep (always), chug it and keep sipping my yerba, take a multi-vitamin and go about my day.

Ok, so since none of you geniuses have figured this out...
Step one:
Fill tub with instant and/or micronized kava.
Step two:
Get nekked and roll in it.
Step three:
Have a couple of sketchy escorts add the mate and the water.
Step four:
Let yourself roll around and steep for a good hour or so.
Step five:
Drink solution through a garden hose until you're completely dry.
Step six:
Allow sketchy nihilistic call girls to serve you mineral water for hydration
Step seven:
Also involves the dingy sex workers
