While cooking, the light from my flashlight, which I used for photography, when wedged at a certan angle would create a shadow reflection on the wall.
The refllection was of the surface of the pot with which I simmer kava roots in water. The reflection is flipped horizontally, and magnified greatly. Stirring makes a waveform shadow, which crests and falls until it slows, then it expands to reveal it is the surface of the water. There are bubbles, these are from the roots interacting with heat. The bubbles are removed if the roots are.
The bubbles and the shadow cast a view of clouds. It is quite surreal. Breathing at the water makes a ripple that is visible on the wall. Cool practice.
