Kava Curious
All you need is a pair of thick nylons and your fav powdered root.
I've been using about 2.5-3g in my satchel, I normally strain 7g to equal 2 shells of traditional grog. How to prepare: Just cut close to the bottom of the nylons in the shape of V. Then just fill your homemade satchel with your fav root powder and tie. You're all set to cheek and chew.
If the taste tends to get to u, try to put some of your fav edible oil on it. This also helps with extraction. Best part is, you're only ingesting the kavalactones. If you're getting actual root grains in your mouth, you either need to tie the satchel tighter or get a thicker pair of nylons.
The best part is, I went from kneading about 7g per serving down to "satcheling" 3g (with much better effects). No bloated feeling what so ever. Tried this method for the first time last week and haven't used grog since. Traditional Grog was starting to give me stomach issues that weren't worth the pleasant effects. So its not that I don't respect tradition, just taking a break from it. So far I haven't experienced any unpleasant side effects.
Was wondering if anyone has tried something similar?
What type of results did you experience?
