In the beginning I messed around with those types of bags but they were never ideal, the best bet imo, is get a kavafied bag, it costs a little more but it's worth it.
thanks for the advice I've had those strainers on the way and some kalm with kava route from amazon on the way taking forever to get here been over a week now not sure what the deal is but anyway its my first time with good root traditional prep so want to do it right. maybe go to a cooking supply store get a better strainer if need be but I'll see how those work out if they and the root ever get here. Will order that strainer for sure though if this stuff works out for me to any good degree fingers crossed !

I like it and the first one I had lasted a year, I traded it in for another because it got crusty, never ripped though. It's also a 75 micron bag, which makes for a very smooth grog.
