Strange feeling from kava

I have tried three instant kavas now. First Borogoru and then Pacific Elixir. I loved both. Now I am trying a third instant kava. It is Fijian kava with chemotype 426531, and when I drink it it first feels very good. Relaxing and happy and takes away anxiety. But after about 30 minutes, it feels like an adrenalin rush or like too much coffee. It makes me nervuos and overstimulated. Can anyone explain what this is, and how I can avoid it?
I take one heaped teaspoon to about half a teacup cold water. If I take more after a while the same thing happens, first relaxing then this nervous feeling.

Totally normal. The short of it is not every variety of kava is going to be your thing. It's a complex little plant. That's part of the fun.

I would suggest mixing the Fijian with one of the other kavas you tolerate better, probably the heavier of the two.

Yes, I have ordered Boroguru and Pacific Elixir and also Paralusul. I expect them on Monday, so I will try to experiment a little.

What I can tell you about that chemotype is its high in Kavain which is the most known to affect your sense of "alertness". I am sensitive to it and find Kava's like Moi from GHK disorienting. I feel alert, but also feel tired, it's a dichotomy I don't like from my Kava's. Borongoru is most certainly on the heavier side (opposite of what you took to cause this affect). Kava tends to hit hardest with the Euphoria and once that abates a bit I think that underlying alertness doesn't fair well with you. Try more heavier stuff. And a blend between the two.
