Hi all. Just a quick note of thanks to the learned silver backs here.

Been lurking the kava forums and the kava lounge for a few months, now.
Finally registered tonight on a whim ( blame that on the Van3 in my head atm).

Initially tried Kava for anxiety. Didn't do much; Thought it was a joke/placebo/juvenile hype.
It was only coming here and learning about reverse tolerance, preparations (I currently do a vita Mix + traditional), and working through about 3 different strains that I figured out how powerfully good and real it really is.

Still way more for me to learn/try about Kava before I can risk saying anything with certainty about this magic root. But am reading (and keeping my cabinet stocked).

Welcome aboard doobie doo, just keep at it. The more you do it the more the kava comes out of its shell. Kava's true colors only open up to those of whom are most patient and wise.

Ok, I predicted a few weeks ago that we were going to have an influx of Noobies and many who were formally lurkers and I was right. The reason I said that is that there is so much information being passed around that you can't help but jump into the fray. And if you are suffering from anxiety or pain, you got a Brotherhood here who totally understands. Welcome to the Brotherhood Doobie Doo!

P.S. Hey, and Doobie obeyed the first rule established in the Old Forum, you have to be Krunked before you post! LOL.

I appreciate the warm words of welcome. Work over - time to break out a few tbsp of Tudei and do a little reading.

Hey there. Welcome.

We here may not all agree on things like prep methods, and we all may prefer one vendor over the other, but one thing is for sure. We all share the same love for kava.
It's fun to not-agree...at least here it is. It gives you a reason to try different things.

You may find, doobie, that the things you didn't agree with before are worth trying. I used to be reluctant to use heated water to prepare kava. Now I use heated water about 50% of the time.

Disagreeing is great. I feel like we know a lot more collectively than we did when I first started reading kavalounge. Especially now that we have some people sharing research and doing their own.
