Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that the acetone test does help, it helps people know more about the kava they are drinking. I have a friend here in Hawaii that gets kava from me all the time. He had a friend come to visit and they both drink kava, his friend brought some of the kava he gets, I am not sure where he gets it, I think it is from a local Indian/Fijian store but really not sure. I gave my friend some Isa and Nene for this test and he used the Hiwa he gets from me and his friends sample he brought. In the picture you will see the first jar on the left is Nene, then the 2nd is Hiwa, the 3rd is Isa and the 4th is the one his friend brought.

His friend tried some of my Hiwa and is a true believer of 100% kava, he loved it and was very surprised about the test results and the effect of the good kava over the bad kava. Aloha nui loa.

You could almost live with the ISA if you were taking it for medicinal purposes. At least it is dark yellow. It is Tudei but is is probably 100 percent kava. The other one that is orange is very disturbing. What the heck is in that kava? Hey Chris, did the friend of your friend run to the hospital to get his stomach pumped?
That being said, you guys that are against the Acetone test, please don't start a fire storm here. I'm just kidding. :D

Friends don't let friends argue about the acetone test.

In all seriousness, I remember there being a thread that talked about the different shades of gold, brown, orange that was quite helpful. Don't know where it went, or if it still exists.
