Think I'm going to have to experiment with the Boroguru

Hi, 1.5 tablespoons of micronized Boro was enough to keep me up all night. Initially, I experienced a wave of relaxation after consuming the mix over the course of an hour (1.5 TBSP to 16 oz of warm water), but eventually mild euphoria gave to way to an edginess that lasted most of the night. Probably only slept about 4 hrs. I was simultaneously sleepy and alert, which is a feeling I can't stand, similar to what often happens to me the rare times I smoke marijuana. I've had pleasant experiences with Boro before--suppose I just underestimated the power of this batch. Suppose I could try to cut the dose in half, but I might wait a few days because last night was not very pleasant (Not counting the initial wave). Any suggestions on how to improve the experience?

A capsule or two of L-theanine has remedied this kind of kava edginess for me in the past. Might be worth trying.

Interesting how kavas react differently to different people. Borogoru from GHK makes me relaxed and want to lay down. I use Nene afterwards to help me go to sleep. 16 oz of liquid would have sent me to the bathroom more in the middle of the night if I drank it close to bedtime. Some people cant use kava too close to bedtime. They use it a couple hours before.

Thanks for the reply. I drink green tea regularly, but I've never tried l-theanine in capsule form. Have to look into that. What helped me eventually fall asleep was a little bit of liquid magnesium. Really takes the edge off and helps with anxiety.
