Hey Donatello and welcome. I won't go into the whys and wherefores, but it seems that some "kava capsules" and "kava teas" have limited scope in their effects. I'd urge you check out more threads here about the cultural history of kava use, types/preparations of kava that exist, its provenance and the effects that have been shared/documented by Kava users. (loads to see on this site and outside of it). Edward has a good thread going (see above) for those of us in the UK who might want to partake.
