I love Kava What a wonderful plant

Hello - I've been enjoying kava for a couple of years now. The only thing I don't like about it is the misinformation and the slow growth. There were a few kava bars nearby but two of them went out of business. I order kava and enjoy it at home so I don't necessarily need a kava bar or nakamal, but I mention this to illustrate how slow the growth is in my area. It doesn't help that many people in my country (U.S.) confuse K@ and kava and/or go for some strong extract when trying kava for the first time instead of a traditional brew. Then they have a bad experience and that's that.

I guess it means more for me if growth stays this way for a while. :)

I started out using a traditional grind and the Aluball. I thought using a mesh bag and squeezing by hand would be too messy, and too much work. So for over a year I stuck with the ball and shaker. Thankfully I came to my senses and now hand squeeze often. It's so much better. But, if I'm ever in a rush, the ball is still decent.

I'm a fan of bitter and so I don't mix anything in. Same with my coffee. In fact, when I've experimented by mixing in a juice I didn't think it tasted good at all.

I like to mess around with making music, websites/apps, and from time to time I'll draw/paint.

Long live kava.
