What's a good sample pack to start with?

the title says it all... I'm a week of kratark.. and using kava I have Frm mountain rose but want to explore more kava strains... what's a good sample pack to start with... I would enjoy having an energizing strain and an extremely sedating strain obviously for work and after work or days off.. I believe the mrh kind is borogu and I enjoy it has a nice energy and slight calm to it.

Not stepping into non-noble kava territory I'd say the most sedative type of kava I've had the pleasure of consuming would be boroguru. Either GHK or BKH's bogorurus are excellent, and quite sedating. Any more sedating and you'd probably be stepping into ignoble ("tudei") types and although sedative to the extreme, they carry a suitcase full of negative side effects, so stick to noble. I haven't had the chance to try Papa Kea from Gourmet Hawaiian kava, but I've heard it's also a very sedative heavy hitter.

Oh wait! Stone from Nakamal @ Home. I retract my previous statement. Stone is absolutely the most sedative noble kava I've ever tried. It will force you down into the couch with god-like persuasion.

I believe stone is boroguru, but it must be harvested from the depths of mordor, because man.....it's a different beast.

So even tho its the same as this one it will have a different effect..the other one is vanaautu borogu... this said it was borogu too. But they'll be different ?

This is the tricky part. They may be the same....or they may be different. I believe it comes down to the way in which the plants are grown. Different types of soil, sunlight, temp etc. So really it's a toss up of whether they'll be identical or not.

Oooooo okay ! Well this one isn't that sedating so I assume different ... it's also very light colored whereas that one is described as dark colored ! I'll post back when I get it. I assume Monday cuz I did express !
