Indeed it can be beautiful, though it took me time and distance to appreciate it.  And yes you should get outta there if humanly possible.  Are you in the hills?  Shit starts gettin' extra weird north of Harrisburg.

Hey I am conservative and I am into kava... in fact where I live Chicago is obviously very liberal and I feel about the same as you.

it's refreshing to hear of a conservative kava drinker!! I'm a libertarian but I try not to say It all the time because when people here the word libertarian people say "oh so you want to legalize weed so you can get high?" and then scoff when I explain my reasons

Oh, Flank, that definitely wasn't supposed to be insulting. I'm very conservative politically, but very liberal socially. I, like Krunkedout, am best described as a libertarian. I was referring to the antagonistic, blatantly-hateful conservatives.

Haha nice I would consider myself to be very libertarian as well! not on everything but I think for the most part that explains my political beliefs!

I am not very liberal in anything but who knows perhaps the idea is just different I suppose that is where libertarian comes in... I think people should be allowed to do what they want if it doesn't hurt others... I want a conservative view and monitary policy and perhaps more libertarian view on peoples lives!

Kinda funny, I live in cincinnati, sw ohio is rather conservative, which is fine. We pay our bills, for the most part. But I signed on libertarian some time around 04-06. And as far as the drug stuff goes, Leap.cc says it best.. Law enforcement against prohibition. Read their mission statement, watch a three minute video, straight from a cop or judges mouth. I hopped on the wagon almost seven years ago, and don't recreationally use drugs anymore(damn near killed myself), but I'm smart enough to know the war on drugs is failing miserably.

Born & raised in Minnesota (a faithful blue state), have lived in Connecticut (about as blue as it gets), but back home in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area now.
