If yo uare not going to fight it....many many years...possibly forever. The recent ruling which is in favour of kava, is not in effect yet, because stupid Bfarm appealed the decision. It will take probably another few years unti the next ruling.

How many appeals can they make? Ithought the last month's ruling refuted their appeal?

But the court has recommended to make Kava a prescription medication with mandatory liver tests. This could make shipping kava to germany still technically illegal. I'm not sure if the irish authorities have the power to order GKE to stop sending Kava if Kava is legal in ireland and a prescription medication in germany. I kinda doubt it.

They can appeal one last time, to the federal court. I'm pretty certain they will and this might as well take another year or so (my guess). Until then, the only option for germans will be to order from the US and risk loss of kava and potentially high fines. Even police raids are technically possible.

If kava were as popular as a certain other narcotic plant, at least there would be a decent number of people fighting the good fight. When kava importation was banned in the UK, some actress I've never heard of said a few things, got nowhere and that was the end of it.
