Kava Physiology Kava in the Blood

Yes, it's the title of a book I keep meaning to acquire, but what I want to know is... I keep hearing about kava causing abnormalities in the blood.

And the Red Cross won't leave me alone, even though I still bruise as easily now as I did 20 years ago from giving blood. They want my platelets... my excessive, excessive platelets. I have so many, many more platelets than a mere human. Is this some sort of mutation that has nothing to do with kava, or is my life-saving, precious blood a gift of the plant?

Im a fortnightly platelete & plasma donor. They take double platelets due to my size (i think if your over 100kg they deem it ok for a double donation)

Nothing changes from when im drinking kava to not drinking it is the plasma can be cloudy & of course the hassle of needing to start drinking lots of water the day before...the aparisis machines dont like thick blood & will stop the draw if it is.
