BULA!
I definitely understand why this is Judd's favorite. The potency is noticably lower but not by much, however I would say that the effect is more significant. It's similar to Nambawan in terms of effects where it's a heady kava, but one that is not too uplifting but rather relaxing. It's almost targeted to relax the brain, much like the feeling I get from Nambawan. There's a noticable kavain effect there, but not as much as other more kavain dominant kavas. That's coming from someone who is pretty sensitive to kavain too.
The amount of muscle relaxation and body effects was actually nice and I wasn't really expecting there to be much of it. Granted, this isn't a full body kava, but it also is not all cerebral either. It's really a perfect mix (80 head/20 body) for me on a non-pain day.
The taste is more mild than Boroguru, for instance, but it still has that distinctly earthy/bitter/peppery taste that I associate with Vanuatu kavas.
I would agree with kavadude, this is underrated. Definitely going to keep this around.
