You swing the thing in a circle to let the centrifugal force bleed the ball dry? Then, I swing the thing in a circle to let centrifugal force bleed the ball dry.
LOL, Max would be proud if it really did do that. Long live the Drone!!!@Squanch72 your friends band just made me relive a DMT trip... hahh jk thats pretty sweet
Very cool, hope they didn't fall off the stage from all the Kava drinking lol@Kavafied A friend and kava customer of mine is in a band called Galactic Hatchet. I turned him on to kava and your Aluball. He's the guy who took the light saber and Aluball pic. Anyway, his band did a three set show on New Years Eve and one of the sets he dedicated to and called the set Kavafied. I thought you might dig hearing about that.

I need to try meditation. I just really dig drone and repetitive music, wait for it music, the build and build then the epic explosion. I guess Radiohead got me started down that path. Lately I am into heavy and slow mostly as long as they don't sing like Cookie Monster, then it won't harsh the kruzz when I am visiting Numbville.I don't know why I never got into that kind of music .. I tried a few times as a meditation aid ect. But silence itself has always been a more powerful teacher than any form, regardless of how harmoniously beautiful it is. Listening to the silence underneath each sound brings out its true beauty![]()
They remind me of groups like Acid King and Kyuss. Old "stoner rock" groups. Some groups would detune their guitars to get the sound even lower.@Kavafied A friend and kava customer of mine is in a band called Galactic Hatchet....

Exactly. Long live Desert Rock! How low and slow can you go. If you dig those kind of bands go check out the Kava Metal Soundtrack thread. Lots of links to bands in that genre on there. They remind me of groups like Acid King and Kyuss. Old "stoner rock" groups. Some groups would detune their guitars to get the sound even lower.
I don't have an aluball yet, but I read other people who said the same thing as you. I was thinking of ordering the ball and just using a one-quart mason jar to shake in...I cracked the base of one of my aluball shakers :-( . I think they need to be stronger. I know other people have had this problem, what are you using instead?
