Haha @nemo. It can be rough for sure.

The Hawaiians seem the easiest to drink straight for me. Stone is probably one of the tougher ones to keep down in large doses.

The easiest way to describe instant vs micro for me is.

Instant = evaporated kava tea or "grog". Dissolves into almost nothing.

Micronized = finely ground root powder with some fibrous material removed. Still is ground up wood so doesn't dissolve but due to powdery consistency it's easy to mask the texture.

I used cheapo amazon wakacon kava to cut my teeth the first 3 months.
