cant believe how long i have to wait for this shipping.

this is my second order from ghk. the first one took 3 business days as they say it should. this one, this shipment of just a thing of instant kava i ordered on thursday at 11 am eastern time. got an email that said your package has been shipped at 8:12 later that night. also saw on the tracking info that you sent the pre shipment info to usps on friday. now i waited everyday till tuesday, still no update in tracking. then looked at it today and it says it will be here on saturday. are you kidding me? priority shipping? that's 1 2 3 4 5 6 business days. how in the heck did the thing get stuck all the way until tuesday without being sent out. im so disappointed and ordered at the time so i'd have the kava by today and wouldn't have to suffer days without it, and now i have to wait until saturday. i dont know if i can order from ya'll anymore after this, whether its Usps's fault or yalls i dont know how i'll ever forgive this. i hate life right now

I just ordered from them as well last week it took a few days for tracking to update but process is much different i take it in hawaii then the rest of the states.
I know the post office is backed up from the pacific border hold up a few weeks back.

A far worse example of the usps screwing me over is a package of micro i ordered from bkh on the 11th is still in transit status and has been in that status since the 19 th. I called the usps 4 times each time they ask for my info and promise to call back. I have yet to get a call back. I ordered this for my friend for valentines day now it still hasnt gotten here. Good thing is i let know bkh and they are trying to get ahold of the package or will work withme! Just hang in their im sure its normal. If it doesnt show up saturday then id be mad.

Im def in the same boat though ran out of kava around the 14th. Ordered some early to take a few days off amd have some for the work week And a gift for a good friend. I think its good to go without, but it just sucks hahah.

@xander brown, I think UPS in Hawaii is slow. I'm tracking my shipment and it took 2 or more days just to get out of Hawaii. Remember that GHK is a Kava Farm and they are out in the forests/wilderness of Hawaii. Heck, Chris has to drive 30 or more minutes just to see a doctor. So it takes a while to get from the sticks to Honolulu. That's the price we pay for Freshly Harvested Kava.

USPS won't give you a state by state progress report, it will just show up on your door step on the day they estimate. So mine shipped late last week but the weekend probably slowed it down. It will be here Thursday. In my book, that ain't so bad. It's about a week delivery time and I plan for that. They keep cutting the USPS budget because they keep losing money and all this has an effect on us, the taxpaying consumers.

yeah i mean really i contribute it to 2 factors, usps sucks and hawaii is the laziest state. i lived there for 4 years so i can attest to that, everything takes way longer because they're on island time there. i'm just disappointed and know i shouldn't be blaming ghk for this and am not atleast anymore.i'm just blaming myself since i should have ordered way earlier to give atleast a week for it to get here before running out.

@xander brown, I hear ya man! I grew up in a sleepy border town. :hilarious: We called it "manana land". Which means land of tomorrow. :LOL: So I'm used to it and I plan accordingly.

within 30 minutes of me contacting the bkh site , about my ongoing mishap with the usps, i got a response! Thats customer service! They said theyd try to make contact if they have troubles theyd be happy to replace my item or refund me. I was kind of mad because everytime i call the post office id get the same response, says its out for delivery, ill talk to the carrier and call you , back, but never got a call back after 4 of those convos. what can you do? Im just greatful for great treatment from great kava vendors!

You guys are spoiled, lol. Try ordering anything from anywhere to New Zealand. Sometimes it takes a week, sometimes 3 months, sometimes it never gets here, you just never know. Foreign postal services are slow, NZ Post is even slower, plus our customs and biosecurity people take their time inspecting everything that looks remotely like a potential threat to NZ's biosecutiy or like something that they could tax (I sometimes feel the latter is their number one priority). From time to time I get packages with stuff I ordered from, let's say, Asia that I didn't even remember ordering.

Wow that is very humbling, ya again no sweat! I think my frustration stemmed from the lack of care and help from the usps for a service thats paid for
.

And to add fuel to the fire, I didn't get my mail till 7PM last night. I usually get it around 2:30. For the last 2 weeks, delivery has gone from bad to worse. Something is definitely amiss here. They better not screw up my Thursday delivery date of kava! :mad:

So you got your shipment in the stated 3 business days the first order? Well that means they aren't lying I guess. You can chalk this mishap up to anything you want but the fact is, usps states this is an estimated shipping timeframe and not divine mandate. I hope you can find in your heart to forgive all associated parties...

You should go back in time and tell Ben Franklin not to bother starting the postal service cause it still winds up taking 7 days to get mail from an island 2500 miles from our mainland. I'm sure he would scrap the project then. ;)

I order a week before I need it for a reason ::awesomesmiles::

Ya for sure i definitely understand why it takes so long, and definitely try to plan ahead and order ahead. Its not bad to take a break once in a while anyhow. Im actually due to recieve my package from ghk that i ordered a week ago and still have yet to recieve that package i ordered from oregon.

I just waited almost two weeks to get a package from bkh. Very unusual. Think it went to NY for some reason and got trapped in snow? Anyway it seems like if you order late Thurs on, the label gets made but doesn't get picked up until Monday. Ordered earlier in the week and it ships fast. So I thought maybe usps only runs m-Thurs but if you order from pk late Thurs it ships Friday and arrives Mon or Tues. Ghk is worth the wait tho. Solution: Have an extra weeks worth always or order from multiple sources to increase the chance of getting something quicker.

I ordered on the 22nd and live in eastern Oregon. It just departed Portland about 3 hours ago. From what I hear about GHK, it'll be worth the wait. I'm going to order next from Judd to see how fast it will get to me considering I'm only about 3 hrs away from Portlandia.

I got my GHK Micronized Sampler Pack exactly 1 week after I ordered it. This is exactly what I expected and predicted. So I'm a happy camper. Waiting an extra few days for 100% Fresh Noble Kava is no problem for me. By the way, the New Improved Micronized Macaless Moi is ground so fine that it went down like instant. No grittiness in the throat. I did the last of an older bag of Micronized Nene to compare it and the Nene had a little bit of grittiness which I expected. The newer grind is outstanding!
