Had the opportunity to revisit GHK's medium grind Hiwa for the past 4 days. This kava really defines what a sedative kava can do. Sleep requires zero effort. Had to dial back my normal 40 gram dose to around 35 due to the potency. Monday night I believe I had a classic "am I going to make it to the bed?....maybe I should just lie down here on the floor" experience with it, so it has the potential to be a head banger if you up the dose.

Have a 10lb order in the mail right now for Chris's new Hawaiian grown Boroguru, and can't wait to start shelling that down.

Ohhhh, so that explains why you haven't been around for a while. You did a Rip Van Winkle on us and you just woke up. Thanks for the heads up @Kapmcrunk. (y)
On another note, I think Hanapaki Ai' is doing that to me as well. Having a rough go with customers getting viruses and stuff and I've been dipping into the kava for relief. One shell of Hanapaki Micronized , and I'm instantly numb. I look down at the floor and my "Give a Shitter" is laying there in pieces. Not an everyday kava but sometimes you need that, especially if your are an "excitable boy" and the caca is hitting the fan.

Got a chemotype for that new boroguro? My absolute favorite strange of kava, I truly can't wait until you have enough to sell!

Giving it a go this evening, and I'm blown away already, only 45 minutes in. One of the best tasting kavas I've had, and the body buzzing effects were almost immediate. I think I'm going to enjoy this.

I'm enjoying Hiwa this evening. Just driven from Wales to London and needed something to calm me down and help me sleep. I wasn't blown away the first few times I used this but it's grown on me (not literally!). I stand by my first feeling that it is very similar to Nene but stronger, maybe double the strength. Very nice anyway, I'm glad it started treating me nicely, this is one I would order again.
