First off, hello new forum! I see all the old faces, love what you guys have done here, seriously, bravo. All the greatness of the old forum +100, love it!
Now on to the subject matter. Anyone here familiar with ASMR?* The (autonomous sensory meridian response) is very difficult to explain to someone who has never experienced it. Throughout my childhood I always assumed I was alone in it. How watching someone draw or sketch or paint, or even simply whisper, could produce an outstanding "tingling" effect all throughout my head and body, the ultimate relaxation. Turns out, I'm not alone, and I've found thousands of other people on YouTube watching (and dedicating themselves to) videos which try to trigger the response.
This man is a genius, and an example of how sounds can be used to relax. and in my case, nearly sedate. (should be watched with headphones for best result)
Recently I've found that Kava and ASMR go hand in hand. I've never slept better and deeper in my life, and the "tingle" sensation induced by specific triggers (like the touch tapping in the above video) were amplified significantly. It has become a normal routine for me
