Here's a pretty shitty article about kava. The reason I am posting it here is I am just hoping someone can tell me where "Macronesia" is. :ROFLMAO:
"Kava Root Extract Market Driven by Increasing Demand in Cosmetic & Pharmaceutical Industry" [Link removed; use search to see it if you must. Or not.]

"Kava is herbal plant native to Polynesia, Macronesia and Micronesia of the South Pacific area. ... "

Also, how is kava used in the cosmetic industry?

Some top-notch reporting here. Not:

Quote: "Kava root extract have multiple side effects such as drug abuse, reduce viral resistance, may damage liver etc. As a result of anxiety effect due to kava root extract product consumption it is not advisable to consume before driving. High or continuous intake of kava root extract may result in death. Kava root extract consumed in depression can result in worsening the depression leading to many health hazards. All the above factors may restrain market growth during the forecast period."
The gist of the article, or more precisely, the press release, seems to be: "This stuff called kava is popular in the market right now. You might be able to make a fast buck off it. But it is horrible toxic stuff so your profits in the long term might be limited by your customers dropping dead."

A theory about what this is.
Observations:
- The English is poor.
- The article talks about "kava root extract" not kava as a plant, and the author clearly knows nothing about kava aside from the results of a hasty Google search.
- The author uses certain buzzwords like "business intelligence." Despite the terrible English, the author is familiar enough with the jargon of business economics to invent "Macronesia," which logically must also exist if there is a "Micronesia"
- The article mentions several specific retail or wholesale businesses, at least one of which is suspected of buying extract from China.

Conclusion:
The author probably represents a factory that produces kava extract in China. The author is trying to appeal to the vanity of American business people by providing them with "intelligence" and presenting him or herself as a knowledgeable advisor, rather than simply selling extract on Alibaba, in the hopes of making more money that way.

Macronesia is the feeling you have when you drank a lot of shells the night before, and you wake up a bit krunked and not entirely sure where you set your phone down.
Or maybe when you've drunk so much kava you can't remember just how many shells you've had?

I agree that Kava is very common in Pacific area. I didn't know kava can be use in cosmetic industry, but if it is, well hey that's an advantage!:woot:

Kava in cosmetics is something I've never heard of. I just try to stay hydrated and put on moisturizer to avoid kava skin.
